FDA Approved

Ketamine Therapy uses a safe and well-researched drug that has been used in surgery rooms, emergency medical services, and in combat zones.

It achieved FDA approval in 1970 and has recently been rediscovered for its therapeutic effects on drug-resistant depression and anxiety.

What to expect during a Ketamine therapy session

After a screening process has been conducted, we will schedule an appointment for you to receive your first infusion.

The process takes place in a relaxed environment designed for maximum comfort. The usual treatment consists of six (6) sessions combined by an evaluation by our behavioral therapist. Each treatment package is tailored to the individual's needs.

FAQs

  • Ketamine has been showed to reduce the presynaptic activity and persistent release of the neurotransmitter glutamate. Elevated glutamate release has been linked to stress, depression, and other mood disorders.

  • Although it was intended as an anesthetic, ketamine has been shown to have positive results in improving PTSD and depression symptoms.

  • Ketamine is not recommended for patients suffering active schizophrenic or psychotic symptoms. Other problems like high blood pressure and cardiac disease will require medical screening and or treatment prior to starting ketamine therapy.
